Lucknow, 18 August : City Montessori School organized 'Careers Day' today at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium wherein thousands of students learnt to choose career for themselves under the guidance of various career experts and also learnt to prepare themselves for such choices and to plan for it. On this occasion, various subject experts and educators provided detailed information on different career options through panel discussions, expert talks, and personal counseling. Students exploring future possibilities learned the keys to success in various fields, including Civil Services, Police Services, Engineering, Indian Army, Indian Air Force, Chartered Accountancy, Law, Merchant Navy, Animation and Graphic Designing, Entrepreneurship, Information Technology, Robotics and AI, Hospitality and Event Management, Banking, HR and Marketing, Aeronautics, and many more.
Earlier, CMS Manager Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon warmly welcomed the experts and eminent personalities who came to guide the students. In her address, Prof. Kingdon said that students face hard time in choosing career because of lack of information and this 'Careers Day' is an opportunity for them to come out of their confusion. She further stated that the purpose of this Career Day is to help students determine their career direction early so they can follow the right path instead of wandering aimlessly.
At the Career Day, eminent personalities from various fields provided valuable information to the students in different parallel sessions. Addressing the students, Prof. (Dr.) Amar Pal Singh, Vice Chancellor of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University, said that the speed of change is so fast in these times and therefore we must be prepared for it. He emphasized that the three essential keys to success are - more aware, notice more and have more inoformation. Dr. Dheeraj Sanghi, Vice Chancellor of JK Lakshmipat University, Rajasthan, mentioned that in today's era, one must develop the habit of continuous learning, as specialization is now the trend. To achieve success, one should strive to excel in their area of interest.
