 worked hard and studied for hours. In the end, John ended
 up getting the highest grade in the class. Sam was
 disappointed, but he was also proud of his friend for his
 accomplishment. He knew that John had worked hard and
 deserved the recognition he received.
 From that day on, Sam and John had a friendly rivalry in
 the classroom. Whenever they competed for the highest
 grade, they both worked hard and gave their best. In the
 end, they both knew that they were friends and that the
 competition was all in good fun.
