CMS Gomti Nagar Extension Campus has been awarded the national level 'Paryavaran Mitra Puraskar' by the Centre for Environment Education (CEE). At a grand honouring ceremony held in Panchmarhi, Madhya Pradesh, senior teacher of the school, Ms Kavita Shahi received the honour on behalf of CMS Gomti Nagar Extension Campus. The CMS Campus has received this prestigious award for performing commendably in the field of environmental conservation and contributing immensely through projects and drives towards the sustainability and protection of the earth's resources.
These achievements were made under the guidance of Senior Principal, Ms Manjit Batra and Principal, Mrs Sangeeta Banerjee. The students of junior classes have consistently been spreading the message that individual and collective efforts can solve environment-related issues. The Centre for Environment Education (CEE) in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, Govt. of India, gives away this prestigious award designed specifically for inspiring students and youth to save the environment from degradation.
