Sudhish Kamath is a notable film critic working with the Indian daily Newspaper The Hindu and also an
Independent filmmaker. Sudish Kamath also wrote, directed and produced two independent films,one in
2006 called That Four-Letter Word and other in 2010 called Good Night Good Morning. The
film premiered at the Mumbai Film Festival, South Asian International Film Festival, New
York in October 2010 and was invited to Transilvania International Film Festival, Cluj,
Romania in June 2011, Noordelijk Film Festival, Netherlands in November 2011 and Silk
Screen Film Festival, Pittsburgh in May 2012. Currently, he is writing, directing & co-
producing a Hindi feature-length science fiction film tentatively called Ek Nayi Duniya.

‘Venniraadai’ Nirmala is a professional Bharatnatyam dancer and film actress since 1965. Ms.Nirmala has
acted in over 200 feature films in four languages- Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. She has won
National awards for best performances in Tamil and Malayalam films and several state awards for
performances in Bharatanatyam.Ms Nirmala has written several short stories in Tamil for
leading magazines, written and produced teleseries for Podhigai- Doordarshan, written the
story and screenplay for a feature film for National Film Development Corporation and has
written and produced teleseries for the National Network of Doordarshan.
Florian Steinbiss began his career as a journalist. Besides producing movies, he has also a
long career as a real estate developer and in the construction business, e.g. developing a real estate project
east of Berlin, from the first plan to the last rented unit.At present, Florian Steinbiss is focusing on film again
and developing low to mediate English-language feature films and working on a new book called “The
Fuehrer in us”
Ms Parvati Menon is a professional filmmaker with several years of experience. She
graduated from the prestigious FTII (Pune) in Advanced Direction and Scriptwriting as one of
the pioneering lady students to take up this field. Ms Menon was the Chief Producer and CEO
of the Childrens Film Society . She has represented India at National and international
seminars, colloquiums, festivals etc as keynote speaker, jury member or resource person. As a
freelancer now she has handled a wide range of subjects. She is also a media educator
associated with several institutions in various cities in India.
Rashid Irani is a Mumbai-based freelance film critic with over 30 years of experience. He has
contributed to various newspapers and journals including The Times Of India, DNA, The
Illustrated Weekly Of India and Filmfare. He has served on the Jury of the Pune International Film Festival
as well as on the selection panels of MAMI and ICFFI. He is currently the foreign film critic of The
Hindustan Times, Mumbai.
Mrs. Malti Sahai has had more than 30 years of work-experience in the production, promotion
and commercial side of Films, Television and Audio-Visual Media as well as teaching &
promotion of Indian Culture. She also has a vast administrative experience as the Media Head
